Cross Cut Shredding
All SEM classified paper shredders use cross-cut technology to ensure that paper is shredded to a 1 x 5mm particle mandated by the NSA for classified and top secret paper destruction and by the National Archives (NARA, NIST 800-88) for CUI destruction.
At SEM, we take our commitment to data destruction even further by offering a cross-cut paper shredder that cuts to a 50% smaller particle size than mandated by the NSA — the SEM Model 344.
