The SEM Model 22/5 Medium Volume Disintegrator Value Kit is a central destruction system solution. Included as the center piece of the value kit is the SEM Model 22/5 disintegrator. Ideal for medium volume bulk destruction of paper, this disintegrator has a seven-blade cutting system capable of destroying optical media, key tape, and a variety of media in various waste particle sizes. The SEM Model 22/5 is rated by the NSA at 800 pounds per hour for high security (with a 3/32″ screen size) and depending on desired particle size, up to 1,600 pounds per hour for unclassified applications. The SEM Model 22/5 is listed on the NSA/CSS EPL for Paper Disintegrators, CDs, and Key Tape. The value kit also includes state of the art technologies and features including a customized MX sound enclosure to reduce sound and dust during operation, a waste collection system, and a solid steel rotor designed to provide 70% more rotor mass than open rotor designs.
