The SEM Model 1012/5 Disintegrator Value Kit is a centralized destruction system solution listed on the NSA/CSS EPL for Paper Disintegrators, CDs, and Key Tape. Ideal for medium volume bulk destruction of paper, this 15HP disintegrator has a seven-blade cutting system capable of destroying optical media, key tape, and a variety of media in various waste particle sizes. The SEM Model 1012/5 is rated by the NSA at 500 pounds per hour for high security and up to 1,100 pounds per hour for unclassified applications. The value kit is a plug and play solution that includes a customized MX sound enclosure to reduce sound and dust during operation, SEM’s proprietary XL knives that provide 25% more wear than traditional knives, a dual bag waste evacuation and collection system, integrated operator control panel, high efficiency filter kit for operator health and safety, and a solid steel rotor.
