Dual Stage Disintegrators
Dual Stage Disintegrators are heavy duty, central destruction systems providing high volume destruction in excess of 900 to 4,000 lbs per hr (or 600 to 2,800 lbs per hr at NSA approved 3/32” levels).
Combined with a Pre-Shredder and a Heavy Duty Disintegrator, this Dual Stage design pre-shreds material prior to entering the Disintegrator Cutting Chamber.
Bulk materials such as burn bags, banker boxes, books, manuals, etc. up to 20 pounds in weight can be fed into the system for operator efficiency and overall thruput effectiveness.
Disintegrators have been evaluated by NSA and meet the requirements of NSA/CSS
Specification 02-02 ~ High Security Disintegrators for PPKM (Paper/Punched Tape Material), the NSA/CSS 04-02 ~ Optical Media Destruction Devices and the NSA/CSS 04-01 ~ Punch Tape Destruction Devices.
Due to the shredding volume produced by each system, multiple material FEED and WASTE COLLECTION options are available. SEM can/will design a configuration that best meets the customer requirements. With FIVE Dual Stage systems (SEM Models DS-22, DS-23/5, DS-24/5, DS-36/5 and the new Model 3000) evaluated and listed by the NSA, SEM offers the most comprehensive offerings to meet your high volume shredding needs.
