The Model 0305 is a high volume system that destroys up to 800 enterprise or up to 3,000 consumer drives/hour. The system is clean, quiet (70 to 88 dB), vibration free, is mounted on casters, and has a small footprint. The system includes a discharge conveyor to direct the shredded waste into a collection bin of choice. Destroys media up to 1.65″ thick. SEM’s sliding chute block for the 0305 HDD/SSD combo shredder offers a user-friendly solution that prevents feeding both HDDs and SSDs at the same time. This intuitive device is constructed of a heavy duty chute cover with pull knob that is permanentaly attached to the shredder. The chute block is custom engineered to slide perfectly over one side of the feed chute, effectively blocking either the HDD or SSD side so that only one type of drive can be fed at a time. The cover is easily moved from HDD feed chute to SSD feed chute and vice versa via the pull knob. Must be installed at time of initial purchase — unable to retrofit existing shredders.
