The SEM Model 250 OPTICAL MEDIA and KEY TAPE Disintegrator has been evaluated by the NSA and meets the requirements of NSA/CSS Specification 04-02 for Optical Media Destruction Devices AND 04-01 Specification for Key Tape.
The SEM Model 250 Optical Media / Key Tape Destruction unit has a compact, portable design and operates at 115V Single Phase power. This unit is capable of processing Optical Disks at a rate of 720 p/Hr and Key Tape in either roll or strip form at a rate of 120 FPM. Fast, reliable, and quiet, the unit runs at 85 dBA. The unit offers a one gallon vacuum collection system (internally mounted in the cabinet version ~ Model 250C ) with a single push-button operation, making the unit convenient and user-friendly. In addition to Optical Media, the CD/DVD feed slot will also accept other light materials such as floppy disks, ID badges, credit cards, etc.
