The NEW SEM Model DS-200 is the next evolution of the Model 200 Series. Incorporating many new features such as the waste evacuation air and filter system as well as the a new more noise effecient cabinet design, the Model DS-200 is the most superior office disintegrator in it's class.

The SEM Model DS-200 Disintegrator has been evaluated by NSA and with a standard 3/32" screen, meets the requirements of NSA/CSS Specification 02-02, High Security Disintegrators for PAPER and NSA/CSS 04-02, OPTICAL MEDIA Destruction Devices.

With an optional 5/64" screeen, the DS-200 is also NSA/CSS 04-01 approved for KEY TAPE Destruction.

The DS-200 features a 9.5" feed opening pre-shredder capable of shredding up to 14 sheets per pass. Once shredded, the paper is fed directly into the disintegrator cutting chamber to speed up the paper cutting process producing an NSA approved final particle cut. Combined with the 2" x 9" bypass feed for your other media, the DS-200 will also accept optical disks ( CDs and DVDs), floppy disks, key access cards, credit cards and similiar devices as well as key tape.  This SEM Disintegrator has been designed to accommodate materials typically not acceptable to a standard paper shredder. With thru-put rates up to 100 lbs/hr., this unit is NSA approved for the destruction of all levels of classified Paper Documents and Optical Media (CDs/DVDs).  With an optional 5/64" screen, the model 200 Disintegrator is also NSA/CSS 04-01 approved for KEY TAPE Destruction.  

This disintegrator / media destroyer also has the flexibility to destroy a variety of media ( INCLUDING USB THUMB DRIVES ) and/or other tems to privacy act (unclassified) level destruction: Paper, ID Badges, Key Access Cards, Microfilm, CD Rom View Graphs, Floppy Discs, Audio Cassettes, Sharps, Plastic Credit Cards. With a larger 1/4" screen this unit can also destroy most cell phones and similar media.

Completely enclosed, sound proof cabinet around the 35 Gallon vacuum ensures maximum noise reduction for your office environment. Unit comes standard with two cases ( 50 per case ) of waste collection bags ( part number 638SB138A ).
