The SEM Model 4140C/4 is a high security, high volume shredder listed on NSA/CSS 02-01 with exclusive SEM-PRO™ features that provide improved safety, ergonomics, productivity and energy savings. 

Model 4140C/4 features:

Safety Protection System - SPS controlled safety flap in the feed opening to help prevent accidents and/or overfeeding.

Energy Savings Mode - ESM shuts shredder off when not in use for prolonged periods.

Electronic Capacity Control- ECC - LEDs provide a visual indication of infeed sheet capacity being utilized to help prevent overfeeding and paper jams.

 
Easy-Switch  - ergonomic multi-function switch with intelligent controls and illuminated symbols for operational status of the shredder.

This unit also includes a"Factory Installed Automatic Oiler" with a ONE GALLON plastic jug that is "easy" to replace with the "qucik disconnect" feature. No pouring to fill messy oil reservoirs.  One gallon auto oiler and 60 gallon collection bin.

Other features include automatic start/stop, reverse and bag full indicator, casters and a Basic Starter Kit (including One Gallon of Oil, and package of five bags).

This Model meets or exceeds performance requirements, NSA/CSS Specifications 02-01 and is listed on the NSA Evaluated Products List ( EPL ).
