The Model 1090 is a safe, fully shielded device - unlike other Degaussers with "bare" magnets, the 1090 cannot accidentally ruin other magnetic media that may be near.

Securely erase all date written to attached hard disk drives (up to 4 drives can be attached at once). This device initiates Secure Erase protocols providing guaranteed, uninterrupted erasure of all data. A major benefit of Secure Erase is, once cycle is complete, hard drives can be reused.
