The Mag-EraSURE P2V is a low cost version of the Mag-EraSURE Professional (ME-P2). It utilizes the same basic design and hardware. The only difference is that the P2V uses only one set of bottom magnets. This requires user to turn the HDD over in order to achieve the same gauss level as the P2 product. This design brings to maket a low cost, no-wait duty cycle solution, having the capability to degauss HDD up to 5000 Oested and tapes up to 2600 Oested. Data is Un-Recoverable using commercial means.
