Why not shred + destroy for complete and total destruction? SEM's Hard Drive Destruction Service does just that. Our Hard Drive destruction fees are based on a per volume and desired shipping basis. We can accommodate hard drive destruction projects from any location within North America. Hard Drive Destruction Rates: 1 to 25 Hard Drives = $7 per Drive, 26 to 100 Hard Drives = $5 per Drive, 101 to 250 Hard Drives = $4 per Drive, 251 to 500 Hard Drives = $3 per Drive, 500+ Hard Drives = Please Call for Pricing DoD particle sizes are also available. Note: minimum destruction charge is $50.00 Disintegrated as opposed to Shredded, to meet strict destruction guidlines. Drives destroyed to a tiny particle end waste. This process has an added cost of $1.00 per drive to the above tiered pricing. SEM also provides Hard Drive Degaussing Service. When Shredding and/or disintegrating is not enough, SEM can Degauss the hard drive in advance of it being Shredded and /or Disintegrated. This labor intensive, time-consuming process has an added cost of $3.00 per drive to the above tiered pricing. Shipping Methods ~ Hard Drive Pick-up & Drop-off Program Policy and Fees: SEM also offers a variety of shipping methods. SEM will make arrangments to pick-up hard drives for customers located in the New England region for a minimum "pick-up" fee of $50.00. Customers can also "drop-off" the hard drives at the secure SEM facility in Westboro, MA for no additional cost. Drop-off customers are invited to stay and witness their destruction if they desire. Other Shipping Methods are as follows (Add desired shipping cost to destruction fee to estimate total destruction costs.) OPTION 1) * Customers make their own freight arrangements and ship directly to SEM. OPTION 2) * Standard Program ~ add $0.60 per drive (minimum of 25 drives) Customer packs drives in their own packaging. SEM will make arrangements for packages to be "picked up" by trucking company or FedEx, depending on customers request or shipping weight estimated. OPTION 3) * Premium Highly Secure "Door to Door" Program ~ Call for pricing ~ SEM ships empty High Security "Pelican" Hard Case to customer. Customer fills case with Hard Drives to be destroyed and secures with combination lock provided by SEM. We arrange for case to be returned via Dock-to-Dock "Air Freight" premium service. Three container sizes are available. SEM records hard drive Serial Numbers and supplies documentation to our customers to meet HIPPA Recording Requirements.
