This handy device has multiple uses.  While not it's primary function, the PSIClone can be used for verification of degaussed hard drives.  Simply connect degaussed drives to the unit:  The PSIClone will not recognize nor will it be able to read data from properly degaussed drives.

The PSIClone is designed to operate as a stand alone device and/or with the easy to navigate GUI ( Graphical User Interface) software that comes with unit, it can be operated in conjunction with a Desktop or Notebook PC.

In addition to the verification feature that data was erased on Degaussed Hard Drives, the PSIClone has a variety of Data Imaging / Copying functions from one hard drive to another.

The PSIClone has the ability to IMAGE a Source Drive onto a Destination Drive thereby copying all the data.

In addition, the unit can perform a Mirror Image or CLONE of the Source Drive. By Cloning a drive, the Destination Drive is an EXACT copy, including the Source Drive “fingerprints” ( Aka… MD5 HASH ). This allows for an analysis of data on the Destination Drive without the possibility of disrupting or tampering with the Source Drive….especially important in legal cases eliminating the chance that the “Evidence Source Drive” has been “tampered” with. The Source Drive is “write protected” to prevent erasure by mistake.

Customized labels can easily be printed and affixed to the HDD. Names, Date, HDD serial number, model number, etc are examples of the types of information that can be “set up” as part of the labeling for audit purposes.

The PSIClone is nothing short of a handheld data recovery lab.
