Hammer™ Data Elimination Unit

Securely erase all date written to attached hard disk drives (up to 4 drives can be attached at once).  This device initiates Secure Erase protocols providing guaranteed, uninterrupted erasure of all data.  A major benefit of Secure Erase is, once cycle is complete, hard drives can be reused.

Meets NIST 800-36 and 800-88 purge and clear protocols.

The HAMMER is designed to operate as a stand alone device. The unit also comes with GUI software ( Graphical User Interface) for easy installation onto a Desktop or Notebook PC to allow for even easier navigation. Firmware and software updates are also downloadable from web.

For Hard Drives that do Not have the imbedded Secure Erase feature, the HAMMER will automatically default to a special highly secure overwrite program called BankDisk32.

If power is interrupted or the drive fails in any way, the HAMMER will “lock” the Drive preventing access to the data.

The unit comes equipped with all the necessary cables to operate the unit as a standalone device or in conjunction with a PC.  Four drives can be erased per session. Connect multiple HAMMERS to a PC via USB hub and increase the number of drives per session accordingly.

For additional security, print a customized label that can be affixed to the erased drive. The label can include name, time, date and includes the HDD Serial number and other HDD manufacturer identifications.
