DefenDisk™

The DefenDisk II combines the data storage of a hard drive with the security of a degausser in a single, safe, and easy to use package. 

Simple USB connection allows for plug and play use with desktop, tower, and laptop computers.  When security is breached and an "emergency destruct" order is given, simply flip the ARM switch and push the TRIGGER button.  The drive is rendered useless in less than 30 seconds.

Designed with High-Security installations in mind, the DefenDisk is an external drive bay which connects to your host PC via USB. Use the drive, detach and lock it up at night or when not in use. Should an emergency situation arise, flip the switch, press the button and move on to the next item on your emergency destruct check list. DefenDisk's built-in degaussing module will engulf the hard drive in a strong magnetic field, rendering it unusable in as little as 30 seconds without any further user intervention.

You can Set-up the DefenDisk Drive II as an external drive writing selected data to this drive only while other data can be stored on the primary drive integrated in the PC.

Weighing less than 30 pounds and designed in a small footprint, the DefenDisk II not only has local desk-side workstation applications but is positioned for mobile applications where space is critical....i.e. Planes, Vehicles, Ships, etc.
