This SEM Disintegrator has been evaluated by NSA and with the standard 3/32" screen, meets the requirements of NSA/CSS Specification 02-02, High Security Disintegrators and NSA/CSS 04-02, Optical Media Destruction Devices.
The Model DS-22 Industrial shredder combines a high output shredder with the versatility of a disintegrator (rotary knife mill) . SEM's dual stage design features a high torque, low RPM shredder as the first stage of destruction and a high speed rotary knife mill (disintegrator) as the second. The first stage pre-shreds the bulk fed material, where the second stage converts the shred into any desired particle size via an interchangeable product destruction screen. This unit now comes with a Pallet Load Transporter to maximize the productivity of your dual stage disintegrator system (value of $3,800)
